Luc d'Arfeuille continues, at the head of Château La Serre, a long family tradition in the field of exceptional wines, including those of the Right Bank of Bordeaux.

It was in 1956 that Bernard d'Arfeuille decided to buy the beautiful property of Château La Serre, perched on the heights of Saint-Emilion and very famous for its terroir, limestone plateau with starfish, which produces wines of an extreme finesse.

This passion is naturally inherited by his eldest son, Luc d'Arfeuille. It is for him, not a cumulation, but the starting point of an new ambition: to develop and better express this terroir.

Thus, supporting a long renovation work undertaken on the property in the late 1970s, Luc d'Arfeuille managed to place the production of his vineyard in the leading group of Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Emilion.

Today, the family tradition continues, with the arrival in 2013 of his nephew Arnaud d'Arfeuille, in the daily management of Château La Serre.
