From the very depths of the quarries up to the nearby bell tower of Saint-Émilion, from the underground limestone to the heights of the family home, Château La Serre rises from a resolutely vertical terroir.
The bottle with its silver pink capsule is a rarity among Saint-Émilion Cru Classé wines. 7 hectares, no more and no less, and a very privileged location, on top of the limestone plateau, right next to the medieval town.
Since 1956, the d'Arfeuille family has taken care of this plot of earth and rock, crafting consistently fresh and intense wines. It is a treasure that has emerged from the depths of the earth and, like the nearby bell tower, overlooks a plateau that is open to the winds.
De La Serre jusqu'au ciel.
